Red Jasper Foraged From San Bernardino, California.
This pigment is part of the Dust To Dust collection.
We break down this pigment by hand from a whole red jasper with a mortar and pestle. The polish is naturally colored from the pigment that is broken down and will have texture as well as larger pieces of pigment present in the polish finish. Each batch will have slight color variations as we use different parts of the rock. This polish creates an effect as a topper and is not opaque.
Naturally, larger particles will stick to the bottom and sides of the bottle and not suspend in the polish base. This polish in particular will have most of the pigment gathered to the bottom of the bottle because of the pigment weight, we recommend turning the bottle upside down to loosen the pigment or using a tool to retrieve the Red Jasper from the bottom of the bottle.
